Good Morning all you lovely crafters out there!

Saloni here with a new inspirational post today !! This is a Mixed media altered project again....

Why should the inside of your diary just be filled with pretty art, transform your diary cover with mixed media and simple technique...

So, here's how it looked after all the hard work....

To begin with, I have applied a thick coat of heavy gesso to primed the surface and then fiber texture paste to it. To add some more texture , I have used a brick stencil with texture paste. Once dried, I started adding colors to it. To keep it simple, I have used just different shades of blue with a hint of white. It's such a beautiful color strikingly soft yet stands out pretty loud. Further to embellish the diary, I have adhered some flowers, moss, metal charms .In the end , I have added few art stones, frosting powder & Created white splatter with watered down with white gesso.

Here are some more close up shots...

The Poetry of Earth is never dead !!

Hello Crafty friends,

I'm Saloni Agarwal and I am very excited to share my first DT Inspiration post for Rainbow Craftykari Blog for the month of March.

This time I have created a mixed media project and titled it "The poetry of Earth is never dead".

So, here how it looked after all the hard work....

For this , I took a globe and painted it with black heavy gesso. Once dried.,I have used modelling paste to add some texture to it and covered the entire surface again with gesso. I started adding colors once the base was completely dried.I have used metallic paints and color spray to  highlight the texture . Then I started adhering flowers and embellishments to create the layer.

Now to add more elements to it, I have added few stones ,beads & metal charm (colored with it red and white). Finally to finish the complete look , I have added the typo bulb.
